| Most
trailer manufacturers now offer a "warmblood" model in their lineup.
Our company was the first to offer a trailer specifically for really large horses
in 1988 (EquiSport) and it seems as though many companies have followed suit.
However, most manufacturers are still unsure of what they are offering and why,
except that they know a warmblood trailer needs to be larger. So they make it
bigger and taller, (not necessarily stronger) and move some things around, and
add twenty-five-hundred dollars to the price. Please look at our XL and XXL options
to see the EquiSpirit Difference. XL
Option
If your horse is between 16.2 and 17.2 hands and not really wide, we suggest the
XL. The XL option gives 2" to the height (7'8" total height) and one
foot to the horse area (7' in the stall and 4' in the head area). Adds approximately
250 lbs. to weight of trailer. Add
$950 to the trailer price for the XL option. XXL
Option We add one foot to horse area and make the interior width
6'8" wide (with no wheel wells) and make it 7'8" tall (square roof),
and add extra strength for the extra bulk. Now the trailer will effectively be
comfortable for horses over 17-½ hands that are also wider and heavier.
Adds approximately 450 lbs. to weight of trailer. The price for this option is
about 1/3 the price of the competition. Add
$1,500 to the trailer price for the XXL option. Can
